About Me

From a young age, the loneliness and disconnection ubiquitous in Western, patriarchal society deeply hurt my heart. This pain culminated during my undergraduate years in a long bout of isolation, physical illness, severe anxiety and depression that was completely debilitating and ultimately cut my soccer career short (on a trajectory to potentially play professionally). Desperate for healing, I entered into trauma-informed, relational psychotherapy and over time found massive relief in the warmth of authentic human connection and support. Through therapy, I was able to become more in touch with my embodied experience and expressed in my feelings, something that had been robbed of me by traditional roles of masculinity. I learned, among many things, that there was absolutely nothing wrong with me or any of the feelings that I was experiencing. Through reconnecting to my authentic self and inherent worthiness, I became empowered to deepen my relationships, pursue my passions and allow myself the satisfaction of deep pleasure and vitality.

Inspired by my transformative experiences in therapy and healing community, I decided to attend graduate school to study Clinical Psychology. In my second year of school, I began training and working with clients at the Relational Center, where I still work presently. Through my healing journey, I have experienced firsthand the lasting, transformational power of psychotherapy. I am honored by the opportunity to support my clients in their therapy journeys of coming back into wholeness.

We are all just walking each other home.
